En las afueras de la villa y próximos al antiguo yacimiento romano de Santa Ana, encontramos este llamativo puente de piedra, que sirve de paso sobre el arroyo de la Rebolleda, cuyo pequeño caudal otorga el nombre de Puente Seco a esta estructura.
Por sus características constructivas, puede datarse en los siglos finales de la Edad Media, aunque se conoce que fue sometido a renovaciones posteriores. Arquitectónicamente su elemento más característico es su único arco, ligeramente apuntado, que sirve para armonizar en cierto modo su maciza apariencia. Su cercanía al cauce del Duero nos permite disfrutar del agradable sonido del discurrir de sus aguas, una melodía perenne que lleva sonando desde tiempos inmemoriales, testigo de historias pasadas y venideras, a las que tú también estarás invitado. ¡Muchas gracias por visitarnos, te esperamos de nuevo próximamente!

On the outskirts of the town, near the old Roman site of Santa Ana, we find this striking stone bridge, which crosses the Rebolleda stream—whose modest flow gives the structure its name: the Dry Bridge.
Based on its construction features, it likely dates to the late Middle Ages, though it has undergone subsequent renovations. Architecturally, its most notable element is its single slightly pointed arch, which helps soften its otherwise massive appearance.
Its proximity to the Duero allows visitors to enjoy the soothing sound of the river’s flow—a timeless melody bearing witness to the stories of the past and those yet to come, of which you are now a part as well.
